About
Hi, this is my blog for all sorts of pro-life news, statistics, stories, and personal ventings. I am a wife and mother, as well as a nursing student. I I truly believe that abortion has failed women, and will continue to do so as long as it is legal.

If this is sex education, what is pornography?

From the ever helpful "brainwash our children" site I posted recently, I stumbled upon the coalition for positive sexuality. I am appalled at this "teen focused" website and its horrific content. There is a difference between explaining sexuality and using crude terms and animated gifs for the body and sexuality. I am linking to the site but only with a sever warning. This should NOT be views by anyone under 18 and is very offensive.

Just say "Yes!"

After reading this I am appalled that this smut could be passed off as education. I suppose when they're teaching 5 year olds about the wonders of AIDS I shouldn't be too surprised.

  • I like your snazzy new blog template! Very nice!! Cute baby. I wonder who that could be? ;)

Hey, I bet your caller ID was full of my number last night. We had an impromptu Abby meeting at Whataburger (we're so classy :) and I was trying to get a hold of you to see if you could make it. It was a surprise for everyone and one of our main group couldn't make it either because of the short notice.

We are planning a half Saturday training camp for fundraising on April 22 to learn the new database software, how to compose solicitation letters, etc. I'd love for you to join us even if it's just for a cameo. We want you in our group picture for our new brochure.

Even though you weren't there last night, I got to brag on you to the team. They're so excited, too about having you on board. I can't wait for you guys to meet.

Sorry for the off-topic comment. I'm about to have lunch though and talking about Planned Parenthood makes me queasy. Ugh.

    :)

  • Haha no problem we were actually picking up my niece and nephew from school and then I had a test so I wasn't home until like 8 and we're cheap and don't have voice mail OR caller ID & we still havnt activated our cell phone...man we really need to get on the ball!

April 22 sounds great I should be able to be there for the entire meeting :) Just call or email me with the details. I can't wait to meet everyone else and I'm so sad I missed whataburder..I love whataburder- In fact when I got home form North Carolina that's the first place I went.

  • Awesome! I'll call you with details!

Voicemail and caller id etc are expensive (like 12/month for both). I just used a dollar store answering machine for 8 dollars. Only because it's nice to come home and see a light blinking. It means you're loved...that, or someone wants your money. :)
